Panduan Penulis

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts should contribute significantly to scientific knowledge and align with the focus and scope of VIDYA: Jurnal Ilmiah Universitas Wisnuwardhana.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English or Indonesian.
  • The manuscript should be typed in MS Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Recommended length: 5,000–8,000 words including references.
  • Use A4 paper size with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
  • The manuscript title should be concise and informative.
  • Include an abstract (150–250 words) and 3–5 keywords.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should generally contain the following sections:

  1. Title
  2. Author(s) Information
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Methods
  7. Results and Discussion
  8. Conclusion
  9. Acknowledgments (optional)
  10. References

Citation and References

VIDYA uses the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition citation style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

In-text citation examples

  • Single author: (Smith, 2020)
  • Two authors: (Smith & Johnson, 2021)
  • Three or more authors: (Anderson et al., 2022)

Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s Online Journal System (OJS). Authors are required to register before submitting manuscripts.

Publication Ethics

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are free from plagiarism and comply with publication ethics standards. Manuscripts identified with unethical practices, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication, will be rejected.

Review Process

Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The final decision regarding publication is determined by the editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations.

Before submitting the manuscript, authors are requested to ensure that the submission complies with all the following items:

  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • The manuscript follows the journal template and formatting guidelines.
  • The manuscript is written in clear academic English or Indonesian.
  • The title, abstract, and keywords have been provided.
  • References and citations follow the APA 7th Edition style.
  • All references cited in the text are included in the reference list, and vice versa.
  • The manuscript has been carefully proofread for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
  • Similarity/plagiarism levels are within acceptable limits.
  • Figures, tables, and illustrations are properly labeled and placed within the manuscript.
  • The manuscript complies with publication ethics standards, including originality and authorship responsibility.
  • Authors have removed identifying information from the manuscript file to ensure a double-blind peer review process (if applicable).
  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission to this journal.
  • The author agrees to follow the editorial and peer review process established by the journal.

Authors who publish their manuscripts in VIDYA: Jurnal Ilmiah Universitas Wisnuwardhana agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
  2. The submitted manuscript must be original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  3. Authors are responsible for the content of the manuscript, including the accuracy of data, statements, citations, and compliance with ethical standards.
  4. Authors confirm that the manuscript does not infringe any copyright, intellectual property rights, or third-party rights.
  5. Authors permit the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the published article in printed and electronic formats for academic and non-commercial purposes.
  6. Any use of copyrighted material from other sources within the manuscript must obtain proper permission and acknowledgment from the original copyright holder.
  7. Authors agree that the published article may be made openly accessible through the journal website and indexing services to support the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
